Our Retreat

Sensone is a chestnut farm, located in the beautiful Apennines not far from the medieval town of Barga and within easy driving distance of Lucca, Florence, Pisa and the Liguarian Coast.

This is as wild and back to nature that you can find, Wild Boar roam the woods, Eagles fly our sky's and the worlds best food is on our table.

Sensone has been renovated to a high standard, but in such a way that the original essence of a Tuscan mountain farm has been retained, our main priority was not to destroy the centuries old ambiance.
