Sensone is one of the most magical, peaceful places i have been to. the view from the house has to be seen to be believed. even the photos on their website don't do it justice! the food is incredible. how carol manages to get so much flavour from such simple ingredients is beyond me. the week i spent there will not be forgotten soon

Expect the unexpected in this heavenly haven isolated from the rest of the world in its own secluded and woodland valley and yet only a 2 hour flight from the UK! Carol and Richard your hosts will make your stay an unforgettable one with their infectious enthusiasm for all that is local. Blending into the locality as though they have always been there, these two people are obviously well respected by the locals who often drop by with the freshest local produce, which is then used to produce simple wholesome meals eaten where possible outside with a spectacular natural backdrop of Tuscan chestnut woodland. Whatever your reason for visiting Sensone, I guarantee you will come away refreshed and rejuvenated!"
